In any mold remediation process, their is a 3 step process you will want to follow. Below is optional, but recommended stages in any mold remediation project.

  1. Investigate The Problem To Find The Source – This involves finding a mold inspector or doing the inspection yourself to find the source of the problem.
  2. Clean Up The Mold – This could be done by yourself or you could hire a mold remediation company. These mold remediations are not to difficult as long as you follow the correct guidelines. The biggest challenge is really finding the source of the problem. If you know where the source of the problem is, then you can be assured your mold problem will be non-existent.
  3. Review and Re-Check Work – This phase of the mold remediation everyone seems to forget. When doing a mold cleaning project, you must check the area to make sure the job has been done correctly.
